About

Passionate about the concept of innovation and creating a future for people where their quality of life enhanced through this idea of perpetual advancement, I've found that the world of tech is at the forefront of it all. With this sentiment, I've become a software engineer in hopes to make products for people everywhere that directly impact their daily lives and radically change how they live their lives.

Through my journey of becoming a software engineer, I've built up a skillset in Python, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript. I've also built up experience with React/Redux and the MERN stack. Echoing my passion of innovation, I'm constantly seeking to learn new things, whether it be a new language, framework, or just ridiculous programming trivia.

On a personal note, this everlasting curiosity lends itself to other facets of my life, leading me down rabbit holes of topics that I can easily lose hours and hours of my day on. Whether it be exploring new foods throughout the city of NYC or reinforcing my skills in a particular foreign language that I'm trying to learn, I am always just looking to learn.

Koko

Koko is a a full stack single-page habit-building app for mental health where users can add and track journals, personal goals, and daily moods.

As the team's backend lead, I was responsible for designing the schema for the project and building restful APIs that my team could then use for functionality across the rest of the project.

Datcord

Datcord is a clone of the popular instant messaging platform, Discord. On Datcord, users can create and join communities called "servers" to chat with other users in those servers or have private conversations between friends on the app.

Overall, this has been my most challenging project yet as there are so many different features and technologies that can be incorporated to scale up the project in order to emulate the same quality of life the real Discord offers its users. As such, this is a project I see myself continually working on.

SAV

SAV is a web application that allows users to visualize basic sorting algorithms such as bubble sort and merge sort. In order to test my proficiency with just pure vanilla JavaScript and HTML/CSS, no additional libraries or frameworks were used. I'd like to be able to eventually scale up this project to account for more algorithms such as heap sort.
